Happy December friends! Since it is officially cold here in Upstate, I thought I would share a session from a few weeks ago that was absolutely FRIGID!
We have been so blessed this fall into winter with milder weather than normal. But on this particular Monday morning, where I met up with Hannah and Ezra for their maternity session, it was 10 degrees! Thank goodness for the sun and lack of wind, otherwise I am sure we all would have been miserable.
For those of you who have been following along on the blog, you have heard me talk about Hannah before. Hannah is an AMAZING photographer, and one I have had the opportunity to second-shoot with at many weddings. Additionally, since Hannah lives in Vegas, I have become her associate photographer. This allows her to still serve clients even when she can not be physically present in NY. Check out her awesome website!
This past May, we were shooting a wedding together (check out that blog post here), when I realized something was different about her. I noticed her touching her belly a lot, and I was shocked to find out she was nine weeks pregnant! And let me tell you, Hannah got hit hard with lots of morning sickness, but she shot every wedding and session like a champ! Most of her clients did not even realize she was pregnant, until the third trimester.
So, when Hannah and Ezra wanted to set up a time to do maternity photos when they were back in NY, I was THRILLED! I was even willing to meet them for a sunrise session, despite the fact that I am not a morning person. But I 10/10 recommend sunrise sessions. Even though it was quite chilly, the morning light was so magical, and made for some amazing photos.
Hannah and Ezra, you two are going to be the best parents, and I am so excited for you to welcome your sweet little girl into this world in just a few short weeks! I hope you cherish these photos for years to come!
