Angela and Brent Engagement Session

Happy Tuesday friends. Does anyone else feel like this summer has been monsoon season in a jungle? I honestly cannot remember another summer where we have gotten so much rain. And when it is finally not raining, it is extremely humid, making it very unpleasant to be outside. This past weekend, we got the tail end of the hurricane Henry. And thanks to Henry, all last week, it rained. When Angela and I were chatting about picking a date for engagement photos, we were trying to coordinate a time that would work for our busy schedules. I was excited to realize that Wednesday, August 18, we were all free for photos. But of course, it rained all day Wednesday, and I was sure we would have to re-schedule. But thankfully, the rain cleared for a few hours in the evening, allowing us time to capture some magic!

So, last week, I had the pleasure of meeting up with Brent and Angela for their engagement photos! Angela and Brent have been together for over seven years! They managed to end 2020 on a happy note, with getting engaged on Christmas Eve. Angela is pretty much everything I am not. She is majoring in English for college (English was always my least favorite subject), and she grew up dancing! Two seconds into their session, I could tell she was a dancer. Every single pose she did so gracefully and naturally. Brent, who is a manager for a construction company, is cool, calm, and collected. He never once seemed nervous, and clearly only has eyes for Angela!

As I know I have mentioned before, one of my favorite things about being a photographer, is getting to meet so many awesome people! Angela and Brent, you two were so natural behind the camera! And never once did they complain, despite the fact that it was 85 degrees, with 80% humidity (I also have no idea how Angela’s hair looked SO good the entire evening). Angela and Brent rocked their session, and I am beyond excited to capture their wedding next June!
