For some who know me, I am a student. For some who know me, I am a Certified Medical Assistant. For some who know me, I am a runner. For some who know me, I am a girl from that very large family. And for some who know me, I am a photographer.
A large portion of Bethlehem PA, knows me as “Liz the Young Life leader.” Let me tell you, this is an honor to be known by kids in the Lehigh Valley as a Young Life leader.
Getting to run club, campaigners, disciple kids, and hang out at Freedom football games, is only a little of what it looks like to be a leader. Before college, I had never heard of Young Life. Long story short, I began leading at Liberty High School in the fall of 2015, and now I can not imagine my life without it. Not only have I gotten to share Christ’s love with high-school kids, but I have built friendships and relationships that will last for a lifetime!
It is with a heavy heart, that I will not be continuing this for the next two years of my life. God has called me to St. Luke’s School of Nursing, and I believe that I need to honor God through that by giving myself the time I need to become a nurse.
But thankfully, I get to go to young life camp this summer with some of these awesome people! Thought I would share a few pictures from Freedom High School’s prom. Love these people more than I can express and I am excited to see how God is going to use these kids for his glory.
So thankful for all that God has blessed me with! Stay tuned for more exciting blog posts coming soon! (Super excited to share a surprise later on this month!)
